SOME INSTITUTIONS HAVE STARTED THEIR INTERNAL MOBILIZATION: As of the time of writing this blog post, only institutions have started their internal mobilization.
Most PCM don’t know what internal mobilization is but before I proceed I will discuss with you what internal mobilization is.
Internal mobilization as the name implies is the process done internally by various institutions that is; is the process of collecting and arranging data of qualified graduates for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Every institution starts its internal mobilization by sharing or giving the mobilization form to all qualified graduates.
You might want to ask me that what is mobilization form, this is the form that is given to all final year students which contains some details to fill.
Mobilization form is also known as final clearance, majority of institutions call it final clearance but is known as mobilization form as NYSC is concerned.
After filling the form and submitted to the department of students affairs office ( DSA) or appropriate quarters in each school.
So, institutions now take steps by imputing the data collected from the mobilization form/ final clearance.
Once the institution is done with the inputting and necessary steps, the outcome will now be pasted on the school notice board and called it APPROVED SENATE LIST
Now, most PCM take the list on the school notice board as the final and official Senate list.
This is not right although whenever any institution pastes it in their notice board they tagged it as Senate list but is not, the official Senate list is the list your institution sends to NYSC headquarters for uploading on NYSC portal for you to check online.
The only official and confirmed Senate list is the one in NYSC portal and before you can see it, your institution must have sent theirs hears copy of their approved Senate list to NYSC headquarters in Abuja for uploading.
So at this juncture, is the right time to stay close to your instruction to know and confirm if they have started their internal mobilization to avoid any matters arising.
And before I end this post, is advisable for PCM now to check if their names are actually on jamb matriculation list and if they are also being congratulate
The reason for this is that any PCM that his or her name is not on jamb matriculation list will not have to register for NYSC whenever the registration starts until such PCM rectify it.
As it is now only unimaid have published their mobilization list/ Approved Senate list on their school notice board.
