Job Title: Supervisor – Plumbing & Water Treatment

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To supervise and maintain all the water treatment equipment/Plumbing issues, Steam lines and compressed air line

The Job

  • Prepare shift roster for all technicians within the department in order to assign repair and maintenance jobs.
  • Summarize and collate daily reports of all repairs and maintenance jobs carried out on water treatment plant, boilers and related piping infrastructure within the company.
  • Supervise installation of all projects pneumatic systems and water piping system for all projects
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Receive supplied materials and items needed for repair work

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum requirement: Trade test 1 in General Fitting and Plumbing

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To further FMN PLC’s commitment to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance by implementing health safety and environment objectives and compliance with local regulatory requirements, to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment

The Job

  • Drive the implementation of safety programs in line with FMN’s safety, health and environment objectives.
  • Enforce safe working practices and ensure lost time incidents are kept to a minimum.
  • Advise on the implications of current and emerging health, safety and environment legislations, including evaluation options, making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance
  • Design relevant safety training for employees & ensure implementation
  • Carry out facility audits to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow-up to ensure measures have been implemented.
  • Lead the accident/incident investigation and reporting.

The Person Must

  • Be able to identify hazards and control them
  • Have clear understanding of relevant HSE KPI’s and how to calculate them
  • Demonstrate a high sense of discipline
  • Have good communication and analytic skills.
  • Have good leadership and people management skills
  • Have good technical knowledge on basic engineering functionalities

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / HND in Engineering or Physical Science
  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English Language in not more than 2 sittings.
  • NSE Member/COREN will be an  advantage
  • Specialist qualification in Occupational Health and Safety

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience

Job Title: Trade Finance Officer

Location: Nigeria

Overview

  • We are looking for a Trade Finance Officer that will support the Treasury department to ensure they follow up on Import and Export transactions involving Raw Materials, Equipment, Plant, Machinery, Spare Parts and Wheat Offals.
  • To succeed in this role, you must be able to ensure error free documentation, its process and maintain cordial working relations with External Customers – (Banks/Scanning Agents).

The Job

  • Organize and deliver exchange control documents for FMN Group Companies to Banks.
  • Process Form M for all imports for FMN Group Companies.
  • Ensure all export documents (NXP Forms, Proforma Invoice, Sales Invoice etc) for export are processed in due time.
  • Monitor expected proceeds, reconciliation of group wide exports and processing certification from CBN.
  • Update all trade data base, line management, banking relations and other trade operations.
  • Ensure the control of use and re-ordering Stationeries, Files etc.
  • Ensure preparation of reports for outstanding PFIs yet to be processed and follow up with relevant stakeholders and other reports.
  • Ensure all Group customs assessment notices from clearing department and customs duties payment are processed timely.

Qualifications

  • A Degree in Accounting, Finance, International Trade or any other related course from a reputable university.

Experience:

  • 2- 5 years cognate experience.

The Person must:

  • Be a good team player.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal & reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
