Job Description
- Help and support surveyors in fieldwork
- Participate in the production of surveying records and detailed drawings
- Execute on-field study and document dimensions
- Assist with calculating distances, angles, and variations in topography
- Remove trash and vegetation from the area to be examined
- Help with the study of placement, shape, and level of natural looks
- Help in establishing land borders for a housing project, a construction site, a lake, a roadway, and a sewage system
- Analyze estimations as per plot highlight
- Coordinate with other surveyors on-ground survey tasks
- Assist the surveying division with surveying operations
- Transport, install and operate survey gear
- Obtaining and labeling samples
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be a graduate
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant profession
- Handle work proactively with passion and enthusiasm

Responsibilities
- Taking measurements of distances and angles on a property or section of land in order to establish legal boundaries.
- Employing specialized equipment, including distance measuring wheels, GPS, and geographic information system (GIS) devices to measure boundaries and contours.
- Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
- Presenting data to clients and preparing reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.
- Collaborating and working with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary.
- Performing mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, Geophysics, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of work experience under a licensed Professional Surveyor
- Valid P.S. license.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using hand surveying tools (distance measuring wheels, plumb bobs, levels) and electronic surveying tools (transit levels, GPS equipment).
- Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.

- Experience in Perimeter fencing and structure.
- Overseeing all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
- Dividing concrete construction projects into different stages and evaluating how much labor and materials are required for each stage.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
- Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
- Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer may be required.
- Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
