Job Description
- Our client is in need of an experienced Accountant to oversee all accounting operations and staff in the head office and locations.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure all accounting staff is following protocols.
- Provide support and training to accounting staff when necessary.
- Ensure that all necessary documents follow the organization’s due process and are requested, collected, and compiled.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding sources of funding, payment plans, bank offers, etc.,
- Ensure the organisation’s finance department adheres to all Nigerian regulations and is following all applicable laws.
- Maintain relationships with current and future stakeholders such as banks, auditors, suppliers, government entities, etc.
- Provide insights to management regarding organization’s financial position.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and finalizing the audit of annual accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 8+ years experience working as a Chief Accountant in a reputable construction company.
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer / Plant Engineer

Job Description
- Our client is in need of a Mechanical Engineer / Plant Engineer who will work with the Plant Manager across all site locations.
Role Responsibilities
- Investigate and test ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problems.
- Carry out maintenance and identify repairing faults in equipment.
- Monitor performance of plant and equipment used on site to determine efficiency and maximum utilization.
- Maintain and update all equipment breakdown records and suggest ways to minimize the breakdown period.
- Liaise with procurement department to ensure timely supply of spare parts, oils, lubricants, fuels, and others.
- Record and monitor daily use of oil and diesel and make a monthly summary to the Project Manager and/or Plant Manager.
- Prepare a monthly summary of total maintenance costs for all plant and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain inventory records; provide weekly, monthly and quarterly data for financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate plant and equipment requirements with the Project Manager and Plant Manager.
- Liaise with Plant and Equipment Division for all plant and equipment requirements.
- Follow-up repair and maintenance of plant and equipment with the workshop to ensure their availability on-site or minimize non-usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-5 years of experience working with construction equipment in the Construction Industry.
