Responsibilities
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and presenting reservoir engineering or integrated well by working closely and building relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders
  • Participating in the Baker Hughes HS&E Management System, including compliance to the policy, management standards and specific HS&E procedures
  • Maintaining and updating of database/case histories of individual operations.
  • Up-selling reservoir engineering jobs and participating in contract or tender writing and negotiations.
  • Building an industry reputation through publishing and presenting at industry events.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s Degree or M.Sc in Reservoir Engineering or related discipline with 8 years’ experience
  • Have knowledge in Reservoir Engineering and experienced with Petrel, Eclipse, NetTool and other critical Reservoir Engineering software.
  • Show understanding of workflows for demonstrating value of Baker Hughes products, in particular ICD modelling.
  • Demonstrate ability to work and communicate with all levels of management in a team-oriented environment.

  • As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be contributing to the field development planning, preparation of rig-less activities.
  • You will be in charge of production optimization, well integrity analysis, preparation of well completion designs, and studies on related projects.
  • As a subject-matter expert you will coach and mentor other engineers and graduates within the team.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing production analysis, and optimize production under surface and reservoir constraints
  • Designing , analyse and optimize artificial lift systems including but not limited to gas, ESP, rod lifts and  jet pumps
  • Screening of various methods and identify the appropriate technique that can yield maximum short and long-term productivity.
  • Generating model inputs necessary for reservoir simulation such as VLP curves, surface or bottom hole pressure constraints, production and pressure
  • Identifying production issues caused by near wellbore issues e.g. skin or permeability degradation, sand production and wellbore issues
  • Evaluating output from reservoir simulation for history match, conformance of forecast constraint to field conditions.
  • Designing well completion and propose alternatives if required, including upper and lower completions, tubing and casing size verifications, and intelligent completions.
  • Performing studies and projects assuring adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of problems in areas, including stimulation, production, well design, testing programs, and reservoir flow properties,

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science, Technology and  Engineering field
  • Demonstrate knowledge of wireline tools, principles, theories, and measurements, with in-depth knowledge in production
  • Have persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be able to work effectively internally and externally with all levels of leadership, delivering clear and concise messages.
  • Have 6 years proven experience in production/industrial engineering; project management experience
  • Show great understanding of PETEX software
  • Demonstrate advanced English verbal and written skills (mandatory).

  • Demonstrate robust and reliable project management skills
  • Show communication skills – written, verbal and presentation. Show advanced English level, facility with other languages
  • Be self-motivated and can operate with minimal supervision
  • Have 10+ years in Geomodelling / Geology experience in a wide variety of reservoir types
  • Have specific expertise in the use of geomodelling applications including Petrel
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills. Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
