Competition timeline:
Submissions accepted from Thursday, June 1, 2023 @ noon (EST) to Friday, July 14, 2023 @ 23:00 (EST). Submissions will be reviewed by an independent national review committee. Results will be announced on Friday, September 15, 2023. Duration: One (1) year. Applications are renewable upon re-submission. Starting Date: Between October 1st 2023 and January 30th, 2024 Funding value: The stipend is CDN$42,500, co-funded via CIHR funding from the three participating CTTPs cited above ($21,250) and an additional $21,250 depending on the availability of partnering provincial* or a private partner, to be paid to the academic host institution. It is expected that the supervisor contributes to the student’s funding in the amount required to meet at least any minimum stipend rules at their institution. This fellowship may be combined with other awards as an incentive, up to a co mbined maximum stipend allowed by the institution and/or partnering co-funders and/or the funding conditions of current awards previously obtained by the applicant.
Eligibility requirements: Open to full-time Postdoctoral Fellows (PhD/MD) who are conducting research related to clinical trials, also including the analysis of clinical trial samples and/or data, and which are aligned with the vision and mission of the CTTP funding the award. At the time of funding, students must be enrolled or accepted in a full-time Canadian Postdoctoral program.
